His powerful and intense music left no one indifferent
A musician who hails from Marseille, Ange King got a huge sense of “music from the heart of the Blues” by listening to the great Muddy Waters. After hearing Muddy, Ange developed a real passion for harmonica. He has played with the Edwin Denninger Group, at Cabannes, the Blues Festival of Marseille, with the Muddys Street Blues Band in the Jazz Festival of Crau, and on many other blues venues in the area. He has also made trips to the USA, where he appeared onstage at the Vaso Club and at the Spotted Cat in New-Orleans.
His powerful and intense music left no one indifferent.
“Ange King will take on everybody in his immoderation. This giant plays with one of the smallest instrument: harmonica. Blues, more and more, sometimes soft, sometimes blasting, his own style complements the music beautifully; and what a vocalist!” – extracted from the Journal La Provence.
