Joueur d'harmonica français Yonberg harmonica couleur jaune

Jean-Claude Perret, better known under the pseudonym of Koko Harp, is a blues, folk-blues and rock harmonica player, born in Bourg en Bresse in Ain. Self-taught, he discovered the blues by listening to the vinyls of Sonny Boy Williamson, Little Walter, etc.

He started on stage at the very beginning of the 80s. These were his first stammerings with the harmonica.

He have been playing for ten years with the Pub-Rock group Mister Jones and The Wild Dogs, a formation that has proven itself through hundreds of concerts in Festivals.

In 2022, he set up the group Lil’Red with the singer and author Lili (AurĂ©lie Clerc, Lez’Arts Collectif). Accompanied by Enzo Aiello, guitarist and composer, Olivier Bonin, bassist and Fred Galland, drummer, they form a rock’n’blues quintet.

Their adventure begins with cover from all kinds of backgrounds, from cotton field blues to Chicago blues to explode with modern blues or rock, whether soft or even a little pop.

Over time, the mad desire to create and give birth to their own songs with the “Transblues” trio is born.
